Spinning Heart: Red

A foil-stamped greeting card featuring a spinning heart.

The inspiration came from the low-polygon, coin-like heart shapes found in 1990s 3D games. These hovered and spun, evoking the sense that they recover the player character.

The movement of the heart, resembling a frame-by-frame animation, is expressed by incorporating patterns with different micro-reliefs on the side and back of the heart.

The foil stamping was done with the cooperation of Cosmotech, a studio renowned for its exceptional expertise in this field. The result is a delicate yet bold heart achieved with unmatched precision.

The card and envelope are made from paper with an antique texture of parchment. While it contrasts with the linear and regular design of the heart, this unexpected pairing achieves a harmonious balance.
